Help us maintain the safety and security of our campus community by reporting safety concerns and incidents

Each incident involves a unique set of circumstances. It is important that we learn the details so that we can best support you and recommend an appropriate course of action.

Submit a formal incident report

There are several ways the university can respond and support you if you have experienced or witnessed concerning behaviour.

To speak immediately to a Campus Security team member, please call 604-822-2222. For emergencies, please dial 911.

For general information or feedback, please visit our office or use our online form.

Be as detailed as possible when describing the incident, and include

  • What is happening?
  • The time and date it occurred
  • The name(s) of the person(s) involved
  • If anyone else witnessed the incident
  • Whether you have reported it to anyone else
  • The best way to contact you, and the best time to reach you

Reporting a suspicious person

  • What is happening?
  • The time, date, location it occurred
  • Last known direction of travel.
  • Approximate age / Gender / Ethnicity
  • Hair colour / Height / Build (heavy, medium, slender)
  • Clothing type and colour
  • Any distinguishing marks or features

Reporting an incident involving a motor vehicle

  • Make (Toyota, Honda, Mercedes, etc.)
  • Model (Corolla, Civic, C-Class, etc,)
  • Color
  • Plate Number
  • Any distinguishing marks
  • Last known direction of travel
