Take advantage of the Safewalk program or call Campus Security to request a safe walk to your desired location on campus

The Safewalk program is a service intended to give safe means of accompaniment when no other form is available, allowing those who use the service with a greater sense of security by walking with a team member. Please contact AMS Safewalk or Campus Security if you would like someone to accompany you to your desired location on the UBC Vancouver campus. Priority will be given to those who are vulnerable and feel unsafe traveling alone. Campus Security, Safewalk and the RCMP all work closely together to keep your safety a number one priority.

You don’t have to walk alone

Safewalk and Campus Security have walking and driving teams that can accompany you from Point A to Point B on campus anytime of the day. Our teams can accommodate groups of up to three people.

  • Call Safewalk at 604.822.5355 or drop by the AMS NEST Room 1314 between 8:00 pm to 2:00 am.
  • Campus Security is available to assist 24/7 and can accompany you across campus anytime. Call 604.822.2222 for assistance.
